A. Steven Crown '74

A. “Steve” Steven Crown is a CMC alumnus from the class of 1974 who majored in economics and psychology and earned his MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1977. Steve has been a member of the CMC Board of Trustees since 1982. Steve has been general partner of Henry Crown and Company (Chicago, IL) since 1986. Steve is married to Nancy Crown. He is a recipient of the CMC Alumni Association’s Jack L. Stark ‘57 GP’11 Distinguished Service Award. In February 2013, CMC named Crown Hall in honor of Steve and his family. Affectionately known as “C Hall” by students, Crown Hall’s dedication, in part, recognized a $7.5-million unrestricted gift from Steve and Nancy.
