Catherine Smith

Catherine Smith is the widow of Gary E. Smith, a CMC alumnus from the class of 1955 who studied international relations. The William French Smith Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Gary Smith’s father, William French Smith, who was a trustee of CMC and was appointed Attorney General of the United States by President Ronald Reagan.
