Gordon C. Bjork
Gordon C. Bjork is a CMC Professor Emeritus who was the inaugural Jonathan B. Lovelace Professor of Economics, was one of the founding faculty members of the PPE program, and taught at the College for 28 years; he retired in 2003. Gordon’s approach to teaching inspired and encouraged his students, leaving a lasting impression that led to his receiving an honorary membership in the CMC Alumni Association. He earned two George Washington Honor Medals from the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge for achievement in economics education.The Gordon Bjork Endowed Scholarship and the Gordon C. Bjork Professorship of Financial Economics were established in his honor by former students.
