Marc F. Massoud P'89

Marc F. Massoud is the Robert A. Day Distinguished Professor of Accounting at Claremont McKenna College. Professor Massoud earned a B.Comm. degree in accounting in 1960 and an M. Comm. degree in accounting in 1962, both from Alexandria University in Egypt. He earned an MBA degree in accounting in 1969 and a Ph.D degree in accounting in 1973, both from New York University. His beloved wife, Vivienne, passed away in 2006. Their son, Ihab “Joe” Massoud, is a CMC alumnus from the class of 1989 and was an economics-accounting and political science major. He earned an MBA degree from Harvard University in 1993. The Morcos F. Massoud Professorship in Accounting was established by Marc’s grateful students in 2007.
