Mary Anne and Robert L. Emett '50
Robert Emett was a CMC alumnus from the class of 1950 who studied business administration. Robert served in the Navy as a seaman in the South Pacific during World War II on an escort carrier. He also served in the Air Force during the Korean War as a first lieutenant serving as a crash boat commander. Robert and Mary Anne Emett have four children. Robert was a life member of the CMC Board of Trustees since 2003, he formerly served as president of the CMC Alumni Association (1963-64) and was the recipient of the Eugene L. Wolver, Jr. ‘51 Lifetime Service Award, the Jack L. Stark ’57 Distinguished Service Award, and CMC’s Emett Student Center is named in his honor. Robert passed away in December 2020.
