Philip M. McKenna Foundation
The Philip M. McKenna Foundation is one of Claremont McKenna College’s most generous and influential supporters and has dramatically enriched the College’s academic offerings. The Donald C. McKenna Achievement Award was established by the Foundation in 1983 and is CMC’s longest-running merit award. The Award is named for Philip McKenna’s brother Donald McKenna, who is CMC’s founding trustee—the one who donated his own funds to establish the College in 1946. Today, Donald McKenna’s legacy remains prevalent across the CMC community. Mr. T. William Boxx is the chairman of the Philip M. McKenna Foundation.
