William S. Woods II '77

William “Bill” Woods is a CMC alumnus from the class of 1977 who majored in political science. He served as as president of the CMC Alumni Association (1989-90), as an ex-officio trustee (1989-90), and as an alumnus trustee (1992-95). Bill received the Alumni Association’s Jack L. Stark ‘57 GP’11 Distinguished Service Award and was the Association’s “Volunteer of the Year” in 1999. He also is a former visiting faculty lecturer in economics at CMC. Bill is considered a pioneer in the development of joint venture planning solutions, such as multi-tier tax planning and the use of limited liability companies as a structure for global organizations.
