Ricardo Quinones Endowed Scholarship
The Ricardo Quinones Endowed Scholarship was established in 2015 through the generosity of Mark A. Ramsey, Sr. and Marian Riley Campbell P’18, in honor of Dr. Ricardo J. Quinones P’88. Ricardo Quinones was the Josephine Olps Weeks Emeritus Professor of Comparative Literature at CMC and the founding director of the Gould Center for Humanistic Studies in 1987, which now has a distinguished lectureship in his name. For several years, he served on the board of directors of the National Council for the Humanities, appointed in 2004 by President George W. Bush. Professor Quinones passed away in January 2019.
